Tesco Christmas Delivery Slots 2018
Ticketmaster fined £1.25m for 2018 cyberattack. Tesco has apologised to customers after its website struggled to cope with demand from shoppers seeking to secure Christmas delivery slots. Well, many major supermarkets are already allowing customers to book their delivery slots for Christmas 2018. Here are all the delivery and collection cut-off dates for Tesco, Sainsbury's, Marks. I had a leaflet saying that the Christmas delivery slots will be available to book at the end of November. Now they book up really fast and last year the kind delivery man told me exactly which day, at midnight, they opened, and I booked at 3am (sad I know but I was up bf ds), and they had all gone by 4am!!!! Anybody else wait up until midnight to book a Christmas slot from Sainsburys. On the groceries home page it says you can book slots from the 21st. Well I've tried a number of times and it only goes up to the week ending 18/12/17.
There was anger on Twitter after customers with a monthly 'delivery saver' subscription were able to book prime slots for the days before December 25 a week in advance of other shoppers.
Shoppers said they stayed up until midnight on Monday and Tuesday to book Christmas delivery slots for December 23 and 24 respectively, which is when they became available to all customers for the first time.
But many complained that slots in their areas were already sold out as soon as they went live at one minute past midnight.
On Twitter, a Tesco spokesman explained that delivery saver customers were able to book slots for December 23 and Christmas Eve from November 26 and that the prime delivery spots were likely 'booked up on that day'.
When The Sun tried to book a one-hour delivery slot in a rural location today, the website stated that there are 'no slots available' anytime between December 19 and 25.
