I were withe my family and friends for Xmas lunch at Bernstorff Slot (=Palace) to day. The x-mas decoration was stunning. Food (a big, traditional, Danish home made Xmas buffet was very delicious. Great assortment of aquavit (snaps) and special beers. The service was very observant and nice. All in all a great experience in a great atmosphere. Bernstorff Palace (Danish: Bernstorff Slot) in Gentofte, Copenhagen, Denmark, was built in the middle of the 18th century for Foreign Minister Johann Hartwig Ernst von Bernstorff. It remained in the possession of the Bernstorff family until 1812. In 1842, it was bought by Christian VIII. Bernstorff Castle is from the 18th century. It is located close to Gentofe city and only a 20 minutes drive away from the capital Copenhagen. The Castle offers a big park and green areas, free wifi and private parking - Free of charge. The castle was the summer residens for King Christian IX until 1906. Bernstorff Slot - Situated directly beside Musikbunkeren, the 3-star Bernstorff Slot offers a free private parking lot and a private parking lot. The venue is housed in separate buildings.

This 18th-century palace lies in the residential suburb of Gentofte, 20 minutes’ drive from Copenhagen city center. It offers a large park as well as free WiFi and private parking.
